Christmas time again, one of our favorite times of year and the time when people start going to parties, doing their holiday shopping, and generally getting into the “Holiday Spirit”. I think I have been a good girl this year… I sure have tried. <3 I don't really know if I *should* win because there maybe someone out there who really deserves to win, more so than myself, but I can tell you why I would like to win. I have just created a website for my mother who has struggled all of her life to raise us. She has worked so hard and is recently trying to change career paths… and I wish to support her with every ounce of support that she has given to me and my brothers. Having such a professional looking theme could really do wonders for her online presence and credibility. And it could be a springboard for myself. This is just a start for me but I would love to learn and desire to become a web designer, hopefully an avenue that would allow me to blossom creatively and yet support my own family.

I’ve been a very good girl this year: plunged into the freelancer business despite my bad economical situation and have learned tons and tons of invaluable stuff. Even though it isn’t enough for a living yet, it’s great to do what I love most.

Two things I like: Christmas Ham and StudioPress themes. That is it.
With all the distractions in the last few months it’s been hard to be focused…. as well as a good boy… Afghanistan, Health Care, Nobel Peace Prizes, Blizzards, and the like have all kept my attention.
But focus on moving as many of my websites to WordPress AND of course StudioPress have kept me very busy… and will well into the New Year.
But I’m convinced that WordPress is the way of the future… and the best front end to it is a StudioPress template.

I have been a good girl this year!!! I have recently finished school and changed careers. I am an LMT, my goal… to facilitate a positive change in another individual, to enhance their quality of life, one treatment at a time. Oh my what a hard year it’s been, professionally and personally – but we (our family) has survived 10 months unemployment, a near loss of personal business BUT we gave back to community with time/hard work and that has rewarded us in ways that only a small town can when it rallies around it’s own.
Since it’s been such a hard year for my daughter we are trying to end it right with an AWESOME Christmas- so we can all put this year behind us and enjoy our new fresh start in the new year.

Oh Rebecca I’m so thrilled – {Thanks Brian, Rebecca and Craig}. Which DM will it come through twitter or SP support? I checked both and didn’t see anything…This truly brings tears, I’ve been talking about doing friends sites with WP/SP to help them in 2010, which can only be win-win-win for everyone involved.
Yes, I have been a good girl.
I am a full-time graphic specialist, full-time student, full-time designer, full-time wife and full-time step-mom to a wonderful 13 year old daughter. I have spent the last few months holding my breath with my name on a layoff list; holding my breath, but not for the reason you may think. My daughter wanted me to be home with her in the mornings and when she got off the bus in the afternoons. She was willing to make the sacrifices necessary, if I got laid off, because I would be home with her. Recently the layoffs were recinded. (Thank the Lord, as a layoff, obviously, would have hurt financially) But this time planning for a layoff has pushed me to work towards getting enough feelance work so that I can fulfill her wish and work from home.
Getting a StudioPress theme would help to put my best foot forward through a professional web presence and increase the possibility of being home full time with my girl. Thank you for this opportunity. Merry Christmas to you all.

I have been a very good girl this year. I took the plunge into online marketing and started it out right by using a StudioPress Theme for my very first blog. I’ve learned alot along the way. My new journey hasn’t been without challenges but the important thing is that I stay focused, I never give up and I know that everything always works out just fine.

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The software were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that Studiopress soon would be there;
The peeps were nestled all snug on there keyboard,
While visions of wordpress danced in their heads;
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window broadband speed I flew,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the cam.
to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature mini-van, and thirteen themes,
With a bald headed driver, so lively and quick,

I’ve been a very good boy this year. Just finished wrapping and staging Santa and presents for my kids. I had great incentive this year – your contest! Thank you very much for having it. It put some wind to behind my sails when I needed it the most. I’ve been counting down the 12 days @StudioPress and on this post. If I were to win the Christmas prize, I would surely make of it the most. My goal for getting through a hectic Christmas Eve full of snow and ice, relatives in from out of town, hectic running all around and too few hours of sleep was to get through it all so after (and only after all was done) I could sit down at my computer and enter this contest with the hope and wishes of winning an all-theme Christmas day package.

I’ve been a good boy this year…
Christmas is very important here in the Philippines. As a dominant Catholic country, faith to God plays a very important role in our everyday lives. My family and I agreed that we should celebrate this Christmas and the coming New Year with the 2 most recent and deadly typhoons that came here (Ketsana & Parma) in mind. We should still be thankful.
Because of this, I plan to make an online art gallery for unknown artists to showcase their creations. I got this idea from a friend asking me to create a site and I thought why not make it available for others too.
