The search widget supplied with my Genesis/Parallax setup is inadequate. It does not highlight the returned result, nor does it point to the place on the page where it occurs. That is, if I type in the word “Strasburg”, the widget merely produces the page that it is on. At the top of the page, by the way. So, one has to now scroll down through the entire page looking for the term. Is there a widget that can act like a word processor search mechanism?, something that will bring the viewer to the term they want to view? Thanks in advance, Tom

You can search the WordPress Plugin Repository with the keyword “search”. Browse and see if you can find what you want. WordPress comes with the default search widget. The search function is not in Genesis/Parallax. So no matter which theme you are using, you will still get the same result – unless, a theme developer actually codes their theme to include a plugin that functions the way you describe.
