    I would like the home top widget and then each of the 3 middle widgets  to have a background image (the top widget will be a different image to the 3 middle widgets).

    If I change my css to:

    .home-middle .widget,
    .home-top .widget {
    -moz-box-sizing: border-box;
    box-sizing: border-box;
    float: left;
    margin-left:30px;
    width: 320px;
    height:350px;
    background: url(images/feature_back.jpg) no-repeat 0 0;}

    This applies the same background image to ALL home top and middle widgets. How do I specify a different one for each widget?

    So my question is – how can I change the css to have each widget have it’s own background image?

    Thanks

    You need to ungroup the selectors into different rules
