Tagged: more breaks pages
As per the homepage: http://0114webdesign.co.uk/, the posts to the right of that page are pulled from the Genesis Featured Posts widget. They have the more link displayed as MORE>> and it works a treat.
The widget is set to show the content of each post at a limit of 0 characters because there are <!–more–> breaks in the posts, which I need so that the post excerpts are not cut off mid-word (I hate that).
I have used some custom code to now enable this widget to work on pages and this can be seen here: http://0114webdesign.co.uk/website-jargon-explained/. The problem is that the <!–more–> breaks don’t work. I want them to display in the exact same way as they display on the homepage.
I know <!–more–> breaks only work on the homepage, but that code does exist that enables me to do what I need – I just can’t find the right solution and I have no idea where to put what I do find.
Any help would be great.
