I recently created a site with Associate theme, and would like to display my some of my posts in a portfolio, or gallery format so the user can view my entries in a more visual way, similar to the new portfolio theme. There are numerous plugin options available. Do you have any recommendations?

My recommendation is to create a portfolio page template

Brian Gardner has instructions on this here – http://www.briangardner.com/portfolio-page/.

Thanks, followed the instructions, set everything up. Created posts, etc., but he doesn’t say to how to display the archive. What am I missing? Is there another set of instructions I missed.

Oh, I believe it’s a template. Add a new page and select the Portfolio template. Name the page whatever you want.
