I want to place this code on the right side of the menu (the part where it
says 'enable extras on right side?')
This is the code: <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/weeklydesigngrind"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2050" alt="RSS-menu" src="http://weeklydesigngrind.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/RSS-menu.png" width="34" height="34" /></a>
I've looked at this tutorial: http://www.billerickson.net/genesis-wordpress-nav-menu-content/
But to be honest, I can't seem to get my head around it. It would be great if someone can help me.http://weeklydesigngrind.com
Bills code uses existing tags built into WordPress and Genesis to get the job done as its highly efficient rather than simply echoing in a HTML link which can also be done.
You could add your custom RSS image to your child themes images folder and use Bills code without the Twitter link or echo your HTML link.
Name the RSS icon the same as whats in the code which in this case is rss.png. You can change this to feed.png or anything else as long as it matches what you're using in the code.
Code not displaying> Grab it from Github
Did you know you can also display your feed using the Genesis > Theme Settings > Navigation > Enable Extras on Right Side?
