I’m trying to add a Facebook like/share button to the posts on the my site, and to do that I was instructed to add a certain bit of code to the Post Loop section of my Single.php file.

Problem is Studiopress themes do not have a single.php file. There’s one inside the primary Genesis theme folder that I could copy over to the child theme, but it doesn’t have any actual code inside it anyway.

Did you find a solution to this? I see that it is resolved.

You can copy the single.php file into your child theme folder and then add code to it using hooks and filters.
