    I have a page I called ‘Blog’ which uses the Blog template of the stretch theme.

    However, no matter what content I add, it never shows up. It only shows the blog posts, and ignores any content that I might try to add before, as an opening paragraph.

    I’m guessing the blog template is by design made not to show custom body content. Is there a way I can get it to show my custom content?

    When looking at the page_blog.php file, all it has is:
    genesis();

    I guess I need to create a blog.php file in the child template that will tell it to show my custom content before the entries.

    Any help is appreciated
