Tagged: header widget CSS
I have a custom menu and a search option widget in my #header .widget-area and can't seem to fully style them with CSS. I added #header .widget-area li to make an inline (horizontal) list/navigation, and text-transformed it to uppercase successfully
However, word-spacing and margin-top do not seem to work. Any help greatly appreciated!http://tinyurl.com/LAfg5HnF-H9MZ9Wfb
Are you wanting to move the FAQ NEWS CONTACT down inline with the search? or what are you trying to do?
Yes, and put some spacing between the words.
Ok you can add the following to your css:
Then increase the padding top on this (I think i tried it at around 120px :
Then on the following css add some right padding:
#header .widget-area li
Sorry I did this in a rush this morning let me know if it worked if not I will look again in a bit
Wow, that did it. How did you know to set #nav_menu-6? I did not see a menu item for that div, only menu-global-nav-container, which I could see in Firebug, but not in any of my site files. I also have more than one #header .widget-area for some reason. The top padding is good at 120. Really appreciate it, Colson!
You must of missed it in firebug... Glad that worked for you.
I see it now in Firebug, thanks, again!
