I’m on a 1280 x800 display resolution and using Sixteen Nine, I’m not seeing the sidebar on the left like I’d like. I’m guessing my resolution is too small for this layout to render on my screen, however I was poking around in style.css and I think I might be able to force this display by altering the media queries.
I just don’t know what values to use.
Any suggestions? Thanks
P.S. the url is just a dummy site I’m toying withhttp://www.retirefm.com
Okay… so you wrote “I’m not seeing the sidebar on the left like I’d like”…. so how would you like to see it? Can you post screen shot? If you are using Firefox, use the media queries tester. If you don’t have 1280 x 800 in the tester – you can follow these instructions to add it.
I’m trying to get the left, black sidebar like the demo like this http://glui.me/?i=718s59s7mz1jkr2/2013-11-03_at_8.54_PM.png/
From the theme setup, it says on larger screens, you’ll get the 3 column layout, but on smaller screens you get the sidebar on top like this http://glui.me/?i=b7zh7t69g9iaa9o/2013-11-03_at_8.55_PM.png/ <—– that’s what I’m trying to avoid.
I’m using Chrome if it matters
Just wondering if you got this sorted out as I am facing a similar issue with Sixteen Nine theme
I was able to alter the media query for the main width in the style.css file.
Out-of-the-box it’s set at 1280px, so if you change it to 1279px, it should work, at least it did for me.
