    Hello,

I am using the Agency theme with the Genesis framework.  Under the Widgets menu, there are options for the Home page such as Home Welcome.  I have my Home page set to be a static page.  However, when viewing that page, I see none of the Home Widgets that I have enabled.  Am I missing something really basic here?  I don’t see a way to set a page as “Home” to show these widgets.

Let me know if that makes sense and thanks for any help!

Where did you set your homepage to be a static page – in the WordPress settings?

Thanks for your reply.  After posting I found this in genesis-for-beginners.pdf:

    4 How Home Pages Work

Most Genesis child themes include a custom home page.

To use this type of home page, make sure your latest posts are set to show on the front page. You can setup a page with the Blog page template to show a blog style list of your latest posts on another page.

I changed my homepage setting to “Your latest posts” rather than “A static page” and that seemed to work.
