I would like to have 3 widget areas in my Footer1 area however it appears that everything that I put in that area, I currently only have Simple Social Icons but want to add address etc, centers and does not allow me to do anything with them. My goal is to have 3 widget areas, one for my company address, one for my affiliations (some images) and the other to remain Simple Social Icons. I would like the widget areas to be side by side but everything that I add, goes horizontally centered. It's simply driving this poor fella nuts! I would greatly appreciate any help that you can provide. I have combed the forums, the net, asked my cats but to no avail....Thank you!

add_theme_support( 'genesis-footer-widgets', 1 );
and change it to:
add_theme_support( 'genesis-footer-widgets', 3 );

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>New Life Recovery Services, LLC</strong><br>151 Mary Esther Blvd, Suite 507<br>etc.</p>

August 31, 2015 at 5:59 am #164113smileyParticipantDid the change in functions.php register 3 footer widgets areas?
It looks like you pasted the html I supplied into the center widget?August 31, 2015 at 6:19 am #164114smileyParticipantUpdate.
Looking at your code you are only using the first footer widget. Drag a text box into the 2nd footer widget & the 3rd footer widget and use those for your text.<div class="footer-widgets-1 widget-area"><section id="text-20" class="widget widget_text"><div class="widget-wrap"> <div class="textwidget"><h2>Connect with Us!</h2></div> </div></section> <section id="simple-social-icons-2" class="widget simple-social-icons"><div class="widget-wrap"><ul class="aligncenter"><li class="social-email"><a href="mailto:[email protected]" ></a></li><li class="social-facebook"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/newliferecoveryservices" ></a></li><li class="social-linkedin"><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/josephrnovak" ></a></li><li class="social-pinterest"><a href="https://www.pinterest.com/oneslorunner/new-life-recovery/" ></a></li><li class="social-twitter"><a href="https://twitter.com/josephrnovak" ></a></li><li class="social-youtube"><a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLXPEJjKBthvyaiwxRtlHQQ" ></a></li></ul></div></section> <section id="text-22" class="widget widget_text"><div class="widget-wrap"> <div class="textwidget"><p style="text-align: left;"><strong>New Life Recovery Services, LLC</strong><br />151 Mary Esther Blvd, Suite 507<br />Mary Esther, Florida 32569</p> </div> </div></section> </div><div class="footer-widgets-2 widget-area"></div><div class="footer-widgets-3 widget-area"></div></div></div>
