Tagged: Apple Icons
I would like to add Icons for iPhone, iPad and Android. Here’s one of many posts that explain how to do it.
I tried to enter the code to below to Genesis > Theme Settings > Header Script box.
But it literally just adds it as text to the header. What am I missing? What’s the Genesis way?
<link href="apple-touch-icon.png" rel="apple-touch-icon" /> <link href="apple-touch-icon-76x76.png" rel="apple-touch-icon" sizes="76x76" /> <link href="apple-touch-icon-120x120.png" rel="apple-touch-icon" sizes="120x120" /> <link href="apple-touch-icon-152x152.png" rel="apple-touch-icon" sizes="152x152" />
You need to specify the location of the image.
<link rel="apple-touch-icon" sizes="76x76" href="http://www.mysite.com/images/apple-touch-icon-76x76.png">
I thought being in the root directory I wouldn’t need the complete URL, my bad!
