I'm still so new to WordPress! I'd like to use the beautiful theme to make a website with 5 fairly static pages - no blog posts. The home page would be full width with no sidebar.
What is the best way to achieve this?
Front page displays "A static Page" And chose the sample page.
This is perfect except the sample page has a sidebar widget in it. I'd like to get rid of that sidebar.
Then I tried Pages>Edit Page >Page Attributes
Selected landing template
This displayed the page full width without sidebar but removed all header, title, menubar, etc
If you are using a static page, go in to edit the page, scroll down, and then set the full width layout under Layout Settings. Select "update" to save.
Right. too obvious. Thank you!
