I’m still so new to WordPress! I’d like to use the beautiful theme to make a website with 5 fairly static pages – no blog posts. The home page would be full width with no sidebar.

What is the best way to achieve this?
    I tried:
    Settings>reading
Front page displays “A static Page” And chose the sample page.
This is perfect except the sample page has a sidebar widget in it. I’d like to get rid of that sidebar.

    Then I tried Pages>Edit Page >Page Attributes
    Selected landing template
This displayed the page full width without sidebar but removed all header, title, menubar, etc

    Help??

If you are using a static page, go in to edit the page, scroll down, and then set the full width layout under Layout Settings. Select “update” to save.
