What is the best practice way to modify the CSS of a child theme. For example is it better to edit the CSS directly or is there a way you can override the existing css with your CSS but without modifying the original in case you ever want to revert back?
I think the easiest way is to use Jetpack plugin and place your edits in the Custom CSS module. This way you can keep the original Child theme CSS unmodified.
Of course, be sure to keep a backup copy of your CSS... just in case.
