Can you please post a link to your site – some themes have that functionality built in; viewing your site will make it easier to determine the best way to help you.

You are using the Sleek Theme? That doesn’t appear to be the Sleek theme? If it is, it’s been highly customized. The areas you have there have been pre-configured with CSS for the layout you have.

Anita – the link he provided in the first post is how he would like his site to look. He indicated in the second post that he is using the Sleek theme, but hasn’t provided a link to his own site.

I am using the Sleek Theme. Only changes i made with css is height of header and i made the header black instead of white. The post are featured post widget located in Home Left area. So i would not say it is highly customized.

Why isn’t my link in my earlier post?

anyway do you have any suggestion how i can do as asked above i would really like to know so i can keep working?

    Thanks

That theme is using a single column left widget area. In your Featured Post – select only 1 blog to show up at the top. Then the only way to get the 2nd and remaining blogs smaller is to drag another Featured Post widget into that area and set the Featured Images to be smaller and set the images at LEFT. This should start to give you what you are looking for.

Thank you for you’re response anita.

The problem with your solution is i get the first post twice. Is there a way to let the second featured post widget display 2nd and remaining?

    Thank you!

Well, you could designate the top as Featured Area – create a category called Featured. Then the ones below that could be everything but the Featured area.

Unfortunately, I… personally… don’t have a better solution. But maybe someone else may have a better way. Hopefully they will chime in on here.
