I am jumping into Genesis head first and I’m stumped with this one.

The blog link in the header navigation menu scrolls down to the blog section as it should. I would like to create a blog page that I can link to at the bottom of that section that will take you to all the blog posts.

However, in the settings–>reading section the front page is set to latest posts. If I change it to static then it messes up all the formatting of the front page. That’s the only way I can figure to assign my “blog” page as the posts page.

Am I missing something really obvious?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Figured it out! All it takes is asking the question.

In the dashboard I went to the Blog page that I created there is an attributes box on the right. Changed the template to “Blog” and voila. Thank you!
