I am just working out how best to integrate the column classes of bootstrap with genesis child themes.
I am wanting to integrate bootstrap classes and am wondering how I can change the footer widgets to have the column classes of the bootstrap css. I was thinking I could deregister the add action footer widgets and then register my own widget areas?
Also, is there a filter I can use to replace all instances of the .wrap (from the structural wraps function) with my own classes and divs to reflect the .container and .row of bootstrap? If I can do this then is there a filter to add the bootstrap classes to the footer widgets?
There are only a 4 implementations of bootstrap that I know of for Genesis themes
Perhaps a look at Jonathan Perez' Sandbox theme would help? He also hosts a gallery of projects that have used Sandbox as a starter/base.
