    Hi everyone,

I am having a lot of difficulty integrating BuddyPress with my site built on the Education Child Theme.  I have tried to follow the directions using the BuddyPress template plugin, but the steps were not very clear to me.  I then discovered the Genesis Connect plugin for BuddyPress.  I followed the directions this plugin.  However, when it is activated it completely upsets the layout of my site – I can only see the left half of each page, everything else is cut off.  I deactivated the plugin and am now at a loss as to how to integrate BuddyPress with my site in a way that keeps the formatting of the rest of my pages.

I would love to hear your thoughts!

    Here is my site: englishnextdoor.com

The latest beta version of BuddyPress is compatible with all themes so doesn’t need the Genesis connect plugin installed to make it look right.

You’ll find the download link at the end of the page on Trac.

There’s a good video about how to setup BuddyPress 1.7 that will help you.
