I’m using Education.
Want a purchase button in the call to action bar instead of email signup.
Everything is good, except the button sits toward the top, as the screen shot shows.
Nick the Geek gave me this advice -
You can give it your own specific class and style top margin or padding for it.
I know what he means, but it’s a little out of my skill set right now -
Can anyone help me with html code to place this button in the center of the call to action bar?
I’m using html in a text widget, so need html, not css (I don’t think….. which is my problem…..;-). If I need css, please let me know.
Someone else had this same issue – check it out here – http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/call-to-action-button-in-education-theme/.
Here’s the code I used in the Call to Action widget itself, and it worked. Not sure it’s according to the book, but it worked, so that’s good enough for me. Padding-top is then adjustable to make it go exactly in the center:
<a class=”alignright” style=”PADDING-TOP: 23px” href=”http://url of button target”><img alt=”Join Us – Button Green” src=”http:xxxxx.png” width=”220″ height=”120″ /></a>
