Some guidance really needed here please …I contracted out a website as my daughter got me the job and her reputation is on the line.  I wanted to make sure I didn’t embarrass her.  Without going into detail, the contracting out has not worked out well.

Please can you tell me if I can make all the functionality that this website has got with studiopress themes?    In the home page for example …can the slider at the top bring in designated PAGES, rather than posts? (that’s quite important)  and can there be a registration form in the square to the right of the top slider (for Wishlist plugin membership – and I’ve bought Event Espresso for the events management system ).

This is the site at present (in all it’s ugliness… :(

I have to make a decision by thursday and would much appreciate your responses, as this job has turned into a really awful nightmare on several counts

    Many thanks in advance.

Using the Genesis Responsive Slider, you can pull in pages, rather than posts  – it’s just a matter of indicating the screen ID of the pages you would like to include.

Yes, you can add a registration form to a widgeted area to the right of the slider (I’m not familiar with the plugin you are talking about, but you can definitely add a sign-up next to the slider).
    I hope that helps!

Susan @ One Happy Studio I offer theme customizations I tweet!
I’ve taken up the challenge! – help me answer some of the unanswered posts

Many thanks Susan!  – one more question please …can I also make the theme ‘Agent Press’ have the sort of small square box style for the category blogposts 3-snippets that this site has on it’s home page?:

Is it true to say that I could customise your themes to do really whatever I want with them?

    Many thanks! :)
