I'm just about ready to give up completely on the theme Lifestyle Pro. I chose it because the demo displays a centered site title and I made the false assumption that adding a logo into that position would be a straight forward procedure. Apparently not.
I've spent a good three hours today following more threads than I care to remember offering all kinds of code changes in order to achieve what my client wants to no avail. I have tried all of the posts and tutorials I could find, but none of them work completely, with the closest option (found here) centering the image for all screen sizes except the largest, in which the logo persists in floating left.
I'm going to throw the issue out there in this forum and see if someone has a sensible fix.
Please, anyone - how do I achieve centering an image which will be responsive in the Lifestyle Pro header area? Is it possible at all? What can I possibly be missing?
I cannot offer a link to this website because I am developing on a local server. However, the WP install is 4.1, I'm using the latest version of Lifestyle Pro. The only plugins installed are Genesis Simple Hooks; Simple Sidebars; Genesis Connect for Woocommerce and Woocommerce. All of which are activated, although de-activating them makes no difference.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

The only time the logo is floated left is when using the Header Right widget area, which puts the logo on the left and the widget area on the right.
Did you upload the logo via Appearance > Header? Are you using the Header Right widget area? Have you made any changes to the CSS that might affect this?
It's hard to give more info without being able to see the site and look at the CSS.

Thanks for touching base. Perhaps its a Firefox thing? I loaded the logo into the Header image area, not Header Right widget.
I have made many changes to the css to try and sort this out, as previously explained, but I reset everything back to default after each attempt.
My local server is configured to be the same as my remote server, but I will install WP on a live server and see what result I get, and will post back here shortly. After that, I will have no more time to spare on this, so lets hope its some kind of local demon.
December 11, 2014 at 9:56 pm #134345clownfishParticipantJust thought I'd post my update for anyone else who might be going insane trying to find a solution to the same problem.
I can't give an exact why, but when Lifestyle Pro is installed on my local server, an image in the header persists in defaulting to the left instead of the center when the screen size is laptop or above. For smaller screen sizes it goes to the center.
On a remote server, there is no such issue.
I changed the php version of the server, from 5.6.2 and every version back to 5.3 . This made no difference. I am not going to spend time comparing all my local server settings against my remote settings, but having done so in the past - I know they are very similar.
At least now I know - so a couple of days of hair pulling and teeth gnashing later, I hope someone else will benefit from my angst.
