    I’m having trouble centering the text in my main navigation menu (associate theme).  I’m probably missing something silly, but text-align: center isn’t working for me and when I use display: inline and display: inline-block to the list items my dropdown list items drop all the way left instead of under their parent.

    Here is the current css I’m working with

    /* Primary Navigation
    ———————————————————— */

    #nav {
    background-color:#ededed;
    color: #424C5D;
    font-family: ‘Playfair Display SC’, serif;
    font-size: 16px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    overflow: hidden;
    width: 960px;
    }

    #nav ul {
    float: left;
    width: 100%;
    }

    #nav li {
    float: left;
    list-style-type: none;
    }

    #nav li a {
    color: #595959;
    display:block;
    font-family: ‘Playfair Display SC’, serif;
    font-size: 16px;
    padding: 13px 10px 13px 10px;
    position: relative;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    Help Please!  :)

    Spoke too soon. Sorry.  That worked for the main items.  The dropdowns are now popping up to the right of the main item in the menu instead of dropping down.
