    Hi there everybody!
It has been a long time since I posted my last question…
I guess I’m learning how to use Firebug :)

But this is now too difficult for me and I would really love your help!

    So,
    this is my website:

    http://letstalksex.net/

If I change the background it changes for the whole page.

Instead I would like to have a grey background like this one:

    http://startablogthatmatters.com/

    Only outside the content area.

I don’t know if there is a wrap around my content or if one needs to be created first but I would like a grey background around my content just like here

    http://startablogthatmatters.com/

It will be used for a landing page I’m creating on my website.
So it won’t be used for the home page but for a landing page.

Thank you everybody who helps and who try to help :)
    All the best!
    Fabio

Try setting a background color on #inner and a different color on #content
