    Can anyone tell me how to change the border color on the Genesis Responsive Slider images? I’d like to replace the light colored border with a dark green border.

    I put a test picture on the slider HERE

    Thank you.

    I don’t think that’s actually a border, I think that’s a background that looks like a border caused by padding.  I believe you would change the background of the #genesis-responsive-slider or .flexslider.  One of the two.

    Loving the Genesis Life!

    You’re using the Agency theme.

    The left and right border is controlled by this code:

    #home-slider {
        background-color: #FFFFFF;
        border-radius: 5px 5px 5px 5px;
        box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999999;
        margin: 0 0 20px;
        width: 100%;

    The top and bottom is controlled by CSS in the plugin itself. Copy and paste this at the bottom of your Style.css file, change the colors and see if it works.

    #genesis-responsive-slider {
        background-color: #000000!important;
        border: 10px solid #EEEEEE!important;
        margin: 0 auto;
        padding: 10px;
        position: relative;

    Dear Anitac,

    Thank you! The provided code worked perfectly!

    You’re welcome. I’ll close this now.
