    I can change the color of the headline AND tagline, but I only want to change the color of the tagline. How can I do this?

    it looks like you’re adding these css changes to your wp_head() script in the genesis settings. you should make the changes in the style.css.

    in any case, you have this code:
    #title a, #title a:hover, #description { color: #9e1b36; }

    if you separate them, then you’ll be able to change the colors for each, like so:
    #title a, #title a:hover { color: #9e1b36; }
    #description {color: #9e1b36; }

    i hope that makes some sense.

    Thank you, that does. Also, where in the CSS can I widen the primary menu and the entire content area to fit the width of the secondary navagation?

    that’s going to take quite a bit more than changing a couple lines of code. i don’t have the theme myself, so i don’t know exactly what would be the best way to do it, but maybe someone who does have it can code it out.
