Hi ~ I am trying to add the “zocial.css” to some posts. Having trouble getting my added class on a “a href” to work with the news theme.  I’m just not sure what in news is overriding my css class. It works for me with prose.

It helps immensely if you include a link to your site with all questions.

No way to determine what is going on without seeing the site.

A post with a class added to a href works with prose not news.

The link looks like this in the post.

    <code><a class=”zocial primary” title=”Visit Website” href=”http://www.somesite.com” target=”_blank”>Visit Website</a></code>

This class is not applied (firebug),. all the css is in the style.css file in the news theme folder. The theme default is always used. What does news do that is different, I can not find it in the functions file.
