I replaced the favicon “G” with my own favicon.ico in both the root directories for sixteen-nine-pro/images and genesis/images. Still getting the G. My website is a subdomain of another website on blue host, could this have something to do with it?
Not if you replaced the image in the files on the sub domain.
And the file name is the same with a .ico extension.
It can take time to change because of server caching and other reasons.
I have the same issue here http://mambosdream.com although I made the change more than 1 week ago. Never had it take so long. Any ideas?
Its showing your favicon not the Genesis favicon.
Hmmm.. showing on one of my laptops but not on my PC. Strange……… Oh well, I guess it is a caching issue on my PC. Thanks
