    Hi guys,

    Hope you are having great weekend.

    I am trying to make my page which I used to paste bbpress shortcode can look like my bbpress forum.
    I believe I just need to change font on a particular page, well I have no idea how to do that.

    My forum page

    http://www.cardzreview.com/forums/

    The page I want to look like forum page

    http://www.cardzreview.com/active/

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks a million!

    Hm, not a fan of the font, but here’s how you use it anyway!

    .forum-archive {
         font-family: monospace;
    }

    Hey Lauren,

    Thank you for the reply.
    However this changes font on my forum page.
    And I want to change font on this page http://www.cardzreview.com/active/
    to look like the font I have on my forum http://www.cardzreview.com/forums/

    Any idea?

    You are right, this current font is terrible.
    Thanks.

    PS Is there any particular font you would recommend for a site in general?

    Ah, so I had it backwards! In that case, use the selector tt. :)

    Best,
    Lauren

    Hey Lauren,

    Yes, but its okay.

    So where do I need to insert the “tt” thing? (sorry for the question)

    Thanks a lot!

    That’s the selector you want to use to change your font. So,

    tt {
         font-family: ...;
    }

    Hi Lauren,

    Thanks so much for the reply.

    I Tried it but it did not change the font. Here is what else I tried, but nothing gave results.

    Not really sure what I am doing wrong, or perhaps something else has to be targeted.

    1. Grab the post I.D from the source code.
    2. Highlight the markup you want to modify and inspect with Firebug to find the class.
    3. Then simply put it all together with your new font.

    Example:
    [css]
    .postid-104438 .entry-title {
    font-family: ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    }
    [/css]

    Tested on this exact page and works.

    I’ve tested the code I gave you using the inspector, and it worked, changing all of the font on the page. You don’t need a class or id tag before the tt.

    Sometimes I just LOVE to make things complicated.
    Thanks a million to both Lauren and Brad, you guys are amazing!
    It worked with tt

    Thanks once again! Now I can move on to improving my site :)
