Good morning, I am hoping that someone can help with this.
I would like to change the height of the header in the Legacy Theme, I can see where I can change the height in the CSS file and using fire bug can edit the size with no problem.
However when I go to upload a header outside the default size of 960x100 WordPress is forcing me to crop the image back to the 960x100 leaving a blank space between the header and the Navigation bar.
I would like to make the header 960x135 in dimensions.
Thanks for your help in advance
In addition to changing the height in the CSS, you'll need to change it in the functions.php file as well. Around line 25, you'll find this:
/** Add support for custom header */ add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array( 'width' => 960, 'height' => 100 ) );
Just change the value for the height.
Open your functions.php file and look for something like the following:
add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array( 'width' => 960, 'height' => 100 ) );
And change the 100 to 135.
Hope this Helps
Brilliant, Thanks for the superfast response, I knew it would be something simple if I new where to look. Done and sorted.
Thanks a million
