    Good morning, I am hoping that someone can help with this.

    I would like to change the height of the header in the Legacy Theme, I can see where I can change the height in the CSS file and using fire bug can edit the size with no problem.

    However when I go to upload a header outside the default size of 960×100 WordPress is forcing me to crop the image back to the 960×100 leaving a blank space between the header and the Navigation bar.

    I would like to make the header 960×135 in dimensions.

    Thanks for your help in advance :-)

    Hi John,

    In addition to changing the height in the CSS, you’ll need to change it in the functions.php file as well. Around line 25, you’ll find this:

    /** Add support for custom header */
    add_theme_support( ‘genesis-custom-header’, array( ‘width’ => 960, ‘height’ => 100 ) );

    Just change the value for the height.

    Hi John,

    Open your functions.php file and look for something like the following:

    add_theme_support( ‘genesis-custom-header’, array( ‘width’ => 960, ‘height’ => 100 ) );

    And change the 100 to 135.

    Hope this Helps

    Brilliant, Thanks for the superfast response, I knew it would be something simple if I new where to look. Done and sorted.

    Thanks a million :-)
