While I love the new Magazine Pro theme, I don't care for the huge photos that are stock setup at the top of every post. Most magazines I know will use a thumbnail size or a little larger, e.g. 150x150 - 250x250 sized picture either left or right aligned at the beginning of an article. This allows the user to see some text and get started and provides a nice overall look and feel to the page. Is there an easy way to have this occur automatically the way it works now?
Are you referring to the front page?
Brad - no - the full posts themselves. I'm not sure whether they are automatically placed in the pages and don't see it in the documentation. I just assumed that there might be some relationship if you place a full size image into the post image:
I don't see any code in the theme files that does that however some themes include that code.
I do know that the first image is added as a featured image if one is not added and featured images are displayed on all archive pages.
Here's some code which prevents that from happening http://wpsites.net/web-design/prevent-genesis-2-0-archives-from-using-first-image-in-content-area-as-featured-image/
