    Hola,

    I’m trying to change the background navigation on both the 1st and 2nd bar on the Streamline child theme.

    Before posting here, I read some of the post on the old forum, but I still could do it.

    I believe this is the file I’m trying to change  background: url(images/bg.jpg);

    I would like to replace it with the black breadcrumb image…here (images/breadcrumb.png.);

    When I tried this I saw no change…I think I  may also be placing the code in the wrong spot.

    Thanks for listening

    Find this line in your child themes style.css file and add the new property in bold

    .menu-primary, .menu-secondary, #header .menu {
    clear: both;
    color: #AAA49F;
    font-size: 12px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    overflow: hidden;
    text-shadow: 1px 1px #000000;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    width: 100%;
    background: url (images/breadcrumb.png);
    }

    Hi, thank you so much for your help, this finally made it work.

    I have one more question to ask if it’s okay. Since I change the background to white, what would be the best way to style my navigation category text so it can stand out.

    Thank you, for the help.

    Hi Mr. Miquel,

    I saw your site and was wondering how you managed to get the menu bad color separate from the webpage border/background?
