Hi. I am developing a site using executive pro child theme. I want to change the primary menu nav color that sits on top of the slider to the blue of the logo (or I might have to go darker once I see it). I've been to all of the tutorials and examples, and I still cannot get it to work! I want the hover to be the inverse colors.
I appreciate any help I can get ASAP!
Here is a screen shot of the menu: http://FrontRangeCommercial.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/menu-example.jpg

.nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu { background-color: #000ff; } .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu a { color: white; } .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu a:hover { color: #000ff; background-color: white; } .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a { color: #000ff; background-color: white; } .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu a { background-color: #000ff; color: white; } .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu a:hover { background-color: #000ff; color: white; }

Adding the second menu to the commands was a great idea, but it doesn't work. I should be able to control something as simple as the primary responsive navigation, so I'm very frustrated and worried. And I have a lot of other things to do I need to get to! (Like how the info in the header is not right justified!!!)
In case you still want to help, here is a screen shot of my main home page, followed by my entire CSS file. I would really appreciate help!! 🙂

I'm just guessing here from the screenshot, but did you select the Teal menu in the Customizer? If not then you are going to get the default colors and that is where you need to make the change?

If you are using the Teal (since the other color choices are gone), then you need to add this in front of any styles that you add for your Primary Menu
.executive-pro-tealAnd also remove the /* */ from around your Primary Nav code; it's commented out right now.
Please post a link to your website, so I can see it to help you. That's in the forum FAQs.
.executive-pro-teal .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu { background-color: #000ff; } .executive-pro-teal .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu a { color: white; } .executive-pro-teal .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu a:hover { color: #000ff; background-color: white; } .executive-pro-teal .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a { color: #000ff; background-color: white; } .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu a { background-color: #000ff; color: white; } .executive-pro-teal .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu a:hover { background-color: #000ff; color: white; }
