    I have tried the genesis plug ins for changing the header and body background in this theme and it seems to be locked on the dark color. I managed to get a picture in the header with the generic WP header image change but it wasn’t responsive so I changed it back and now the original header background is not responsive.

    Notice on the site where the white is at the right side of the header. Not responsive anymore.

    Can anybody give me some instructions on this?

    Playing around with the css within Chrome, here is what I came up with;

    /* line ~183 */
    #header {
    	background: #090909 url(images/header.png) center repeat-y;
    	margin: 0 auto;
    	min-height: 120px;
    	overflow: hidden;
    	width: 100%;
    	background-color: #090909 !important; /* add this line */
    	background-position: center center !important; /* add this line */
    	background-repeat: repeat-y !important; /* add this line */

    The last three lines of the code above will center the header and fill vertically if needed.

    If you want to prevent scaling (the header image shrinking on smaller screens), comment out the code below;

    /* line ~2032 */
    #header {
    	background-size: contain !important; /* comment this out to prevent scaling */

    Here is a preview;

    I hope this helps.
