    Hi,
My website uses the Genesis framework with the Outreach child theme. The default background colour of the footer widget area is black. I’d like to change the background colour to match the blue that is one of the default theme colours.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to do so?

The background in the footer widgets area is a repeated image.
You would need to replace the image with a new image of the color you require.
The image is /images/footer.png in your theme.
Note: If you change the background to blue you will probably have to change the Titles to another color or they will not be seen.

Thanks for your help! I’ve updated the title and text colour as well.
