    Either I’m blind or the current Lifestyle Theme is not registering the footer creds in the Theme functions file.
    Where should I be looking to modify the footer creds.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dan

    You can change theme using the Genesis Simple Edits plugin or PHP code which you’ll find here http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/

    Note: The PHP code may not work if you have the plugin activated.

    I just tested the following in latest Lifestyle and it’s working fine.

    //* Change the footer text
    add_filter('genesis_footer_creds_text', 'sp_footer_creds_filter');
    function sp_footer_creds_filter( $creds ) {
    	$creds = '[footer_copyright] &middot; <a href="http://mydomain.com">My Custom Link</a> &middot; Built on the <a href="http://www.studiopress.com/themes/genesis" title="Genesis Framework">Genesis Framework</a>';
    	return $creds;
    }

    None of this works. With both approaches the existing footer credits persist.
    I added the recommended code to the functions.php and then installed the simple edits plug in.

    Got it working. 2nd cup of coffee did the trick.
