I guess I thought this would be a pretty simple thing to change, but I am finding it more difficult. I have installed the Simple Edit plugin, but I don’t understand how to change the short codes. Or can you? What is the easiest and best way to change the links in the footer? Website:inspiredtowrite.com

March 19, 2013 at 5:15 pm #29510In the simple edits, there is a space called “Footer Output”, if you check that box, it will override all the code that is currently in the footer area. (You don’t need to look for the existing links in the code.)
Then, you would put your own links into the text box. Something like:
Copyright [footer_copyright] <a href=”www.yourURLhere”>information about your affiliate here</a>

<div class=”gototop”><p>[footer_backtotop]</p></div><div class=”creds”><p>Copyright [footer_copyright] <a href=”http://inspiredtowrite.com/newstheme”>NEWS THEME</a> Powered by <a href=”http://inspiredtowrite.com/genesis”>Genesis Framework</a> [footer_loginout]</p></div> [footer_loginout]</p></div>
