    There are tons of page transition animations out there that utilize many different jQuery scripts to give, for instance, a side-scrolling effect when changing pages. I’ve been researching how to achieve this inside a Genesis theme and have failed miserably. I was able to get the effects from jQuery Mobile to work, but it broke many links and the admin.

    Here are some of these amazing transitions:

    Yet, I can’t find a single WP theme (Genesis or not) that implements anything similar. Not one. WIX does, right out of the box, though. I consider WP with Genesis to be much more powerful, so what gives?

    Is this stuff even possible? I don’t care to search, dig, and keep plugging away, but I’d love to know if I’m wasting my time.

    Here is what a client would like to emulate:

    Any help or guidance would be huge! Thanks everyone! P.S. – the URL attached to this post is my site, but not really where I want to integrate this. I had to put something there, though!

    I personally use the Dynamic website builder, but I would think you would have to put this code in your js file for your theme:

    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'custom_enqueue_scripts' );
     * Enqueue an external Custom Javascript file to Dynamik Website Builder
    function custom_enqueue_scripts()
        wp_enqueue_script( 'my-scripts', dynamik_get_stylesheet_location( 'url' ) . 'my-scripts.js', array( 'jquery' ), CHILD_THEME_VERSION, true );

    However there still may be conflicting function names. You may have to rename several functions, which could get messy.

    I’m about to do something similar in the next few days, so I will let you know how it goes.

    I really want to make a portfolio like there’s, that was cool. But I don’t feel like replacing mine out as all I have to do is type a URL and it automatically takes a screenshot of the site and loads the image.

    Thanks for the response! Keep me posted on your project if you don’t mind.

    This is what you want to achieve that affect for Genesis site.
