    Hey Everyone,

    I’m almost done with a new site design for a friend of mine. Using Genesis and the Executive theme, I made a custom homepage from a PSD design I drew.

    The homepage is various widget areas but I am having trouble making the widgets line up properly across all screen resolutions. Specifically, I’m trying to get the bottom of the “Latest News” widget area to line up on the bottom with the 4 images titled Chiropractic, Nutrition, etc. Right now, the 4 images are displayed using column classes in a text widget under a text widget with the welcome message.

    Currently, the widgets all line up for me (please see code below), but not for my friend on her computer. Am I missing something big and/or easy that will make the widget-area heights match up universally?

    .home-welcome {
    	-moz-box-sizing: border-box;
    	box-sizing: border-box;
    	background-image:url('http://clients.impulsemediastudio.com/praxischiro/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/praxisInnerBG.png');
    	float: left;
    	padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;
    	max-width: 700px;
    	min-height: 524px;
    }
    .home-specials {
    	-moz-box-sizing: border-box;
    	background-image:url('http://clients.impulsemediastudio.com/praxischiro/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/praxisSidebarBG.png');
    	background-color: #459eb5;
    	box-sizing: border-box;
    	float: right;
    	padding: 0px 0px;
    	max-width: 240px;
    	min-height: 524px;
    }

    Thanks for your help! I’m hoping to push this live on Friday for my friend.

    What browser, browser version, and operating system is your friend using?

    I know she is using a Mac. Not totally sure what version of OSX. And we tried Firefox and Safari on her end and both are having the issue.

    I’m waiting to hear from her about the exact versions.

    They line up perfectly for me in Chrome, Safari, Opera, and Firefox for Mac. Is she using a laptop by chance? I’m wondering if she’s seeing the mobile responsive version or something… It looks great on my end.

    Thanks Andrea. I’ve looked on her computer (not a laptop) and have seen the problem. But I can’t figure it out.

    This is the note I got from her:

    I’m using Safari 6.0.5. I don’ t really use Firefox, but it did show up on there as well when we checked it. That’s version 24.0 on my computer. I don’t update my software like I should, so is that perhaps the problem? Mac OS X 10.8.5

    Personally, I’m using Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101, Safari Version 5.1.10 on Mac 10.6.8. I am also using Chrome on a windows 8 machine and also seeing no issues here….

    Might anyone else have an idea?
