After creating a custom menu my welcome link appears on the primary and secondary nav bars (I only want it on primary). I have a landing page for the home page that links to the welcome page.
Please advise.
Thanks

How do I disable secondary menu
Using Version: 1.9.1
January 11, 2013 at 3:44 pm #11324Herman, if I understand you correctly you do not want a secondary menu?
If not, in your dashboard under Appearance, you should have a Menu button. If you click that, can you see where you should be able to disable the secondary menu?

Why Not Take The Challenge! – Help us answer some of the unanswered postsJanuary 12, 2013 at 11:02 am #11460I still get links on both menus…I only want the primary menu to show.
Is this a problem with version 1.9.1 because I don’t have this problem with genesis 1.8?Bill..only the primary menu box contains the custom menu name I created
The secondary menu box is blank (from the drop down)Anitac – Under genesis settings there is no check box for activating menus only if you want fancy drop downs. I tested checking those boxes and it made no difference.
Please advise
January 12, 2013 at 11:58 am #11469Herman, to me it appears as though you have your custom menu widget up in the header area.
If you have menu content in your Primary menu field, and from the look of your page the primary is appearing under your diamond logo and that is what you want, then what is the custom menu for?
