Hi, I am new here and have searched the forums for a few answers but wondered if I could get some help.
I am not new to WP, just to Genesis.
I have set up the child theme and it all looks like the demo.
I would now like to customise the home page a little. I would like to add a button to the categories the post is from under each post in the featured section at the top.
Could someone please point me in the direction of the files I would need to add the button to? Is there a specific loop that I can add the button to?
Thanks in advance
Refer 7 easy to follow steps to a killer wordpress website using the powerful genesis framework from trotterway.
Here the author has taken news theme and customizing it.
Thanks, but I didnt really get much out of that link, other than a sales pitch.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
On the homepage, I have the Genesis tabs featured posts. I am looking for the loop/code that is used on the homepage to show it so I can add a button after the [...] that takes you to the category it is from.
This is what I am trying to achive:
Actually maybe its the forum.. can this be moved to Design Tips and Tricks?
