I am trying to tweak my homepage of my blog that uses Focus Pro theme and aiming for a home page with excerpts.
The thing is the excerpts for the home page is stripped from its formatting eg. there wouldn't be spaces in the excerpt whereas in the original content there are spaces. I would like to get a home page similar to this website: http://www.startgainingmomentum.com/ or http://www.jmlalonde.com/ .
Is it possible with Genesis?http://readingwideandwell.com/
The first link you provide is a "Genesis" framework theme. The second one isn't. In WordPress "excerpts' are stripped of all coding. What the two of the examples are showing are "Show Content with character limit" which is what you are already using.
I see. Thanks for the reply.
But it doesn't seem that way. I had set in my Genesis settings to 'display post content' and the limit is 300 characters. Let me give you an example and this one is from my other website 'http://overthinkersadvice.com/':
This is the full post from 'http://overthinkersadvice.com/how-to-improve-yourself-day-by-day/'-

But at the home page, it looks like this:-
'Do you want to learn how to improve yourself day by day? Great! There's a neat principle you can apply right away. It's called the Aggregated Marginal Gains. It is popularized by Dave Brailsford - the coach for the Great Britain Cycling Team, Before his tenure as coach, no British cyclist had …'
So, is there something wrong with my site?
Thanks for the help.
Oh by the way, I found this note after I used the 'display full post'
