As the title says – my 404-pages is looking wierd. Missing both sidebars, and footer.

I have installed Layout Extras, but else than that – it’s a clean installation from yesterday.

    Any clue?

    Sorry.

    Link: http://www.testnett.com/bv2013

Please also have a look at the missing background in the footer at the homepage only.

    Thank you!

I need you to provide the 404 page so I can take a look at that. For the footers, look for this:

    [css]#footer-widgets .wrap {[/css]

    and add this to it:

    [css]background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;[/css]

    Thank you!

As for the 404 page, I guess you could go to http://www.testnett.com/bv2013/whatever :)
By the way – I’ve have manually removed the “authors” from the 404-page, via the functions file. (The problem occured before I changed it, so it’s not because of that)

Just in case you wondered, if you noticed the authors missing from the 404

By default, you cannot edit the 404 page, however if you look at this forum discussion – @DavidDecker created a plugin that will give you the option to add widgets to the page – http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/editing-the-404-page-on-genesis-themes/.

Thank you – Is that the same solution which has been used here, on the demo for Decor: http://demo.studiopress.com/decor/201fw ?

I don’t quite understand how I can be able to place the 404-information, which you see on the demo-theme, as a widget?

I really appreciate your help on this :)

I think at this point, you may need to put in a support ticket thru your account at my.studiopress.com on this. If you haven’t changed any code and it’s not appearing as the demo – they may be able to assist you further.
