Tagged: blog archive image size
I would like Thumbnails to appear on the category pages instead of the full size image from each post.
I have looked at various thumbnail functions for functions.php but I can't see how to implement it on this theme.
Any help appreciated please.
Go to Genesis > Settings. Scroll down and look for Content Archives. You can select the thumbnails there. If you don't see a size that will fit your needs. Go to your Functions.php file look for:
/** Add new image sizes */
add_image_size( 'grid-thumbnail', 270, 100, TRUE );
create a new line under there like the one below and change the numbers to the width and height of how you want your new images.
add_image_size( 'blog-page', 650, 200, TRUE );
Once you've done this, then go back to Genesis > Settings, Scroll down and select the new size under Content Archives.
I looked at your website here and it looks great! I noticed that there is a lot of similarities that you have done that I want to implement on my client's site. I noticed on your home page the slider. What slider did you use? I am using the Genesis slider but it seems to be not what I want.
I am also have problems with the featured image showing up double on my blog as you did. I tried everything I can think of from this forum and it is still showing up. I noticed on this same page that you have a white block above the posts with info. How did you get this in there? I tried the Extender plugin but it wasn't working for me as I couldn't get it centered. Any advice would help!
