    Hi I’m wanting to decrease the padding of a text widget in the Header that contains the search box.  Is there some CSS I can add to eliminate the space between the search bar and the top of the site.?

    Thanks,

    Starting at line 210 in your style.css, you currently have:
    #header .widget-area {
    float: right;
    padding: 40px 0 0;
    width: 600px;
    }

    If you change the padding to 20px 0 0; it will move the search bar and menu below it up.

    Just looked at the responsiveness as well, and on line 1687 you have a padding of 400px, which does crazy things when the screen is small. You might want to change that to 0 or 10 or 20. HTH

    Thanks so much!  That worked great.  Now is there any way to change the padding in between the 2 header widgets, and also make the search button a tad smaller?

    You can control the padding on the search button in line 1181.

    To increase the space between the two widgets, try adding this:
    #header .widget-wrap {
    margin: 0 0 20px 0;
    }

    Also, check what you changed on line 210, as you have four numbers for the padding so it looks like it’s invalidating all of it.
