    I am using the Eleven40 Theme.  Right now when a user visits my blog they get posts from all categories.

    I would like to know if it is possible to have a specific category displayed when the visitor comes to the blog.  I tried setting the Display which Category option under the Genesis Theme Settings but this does not seem to work.  Is there another way of doing this?

    Open up your Home.php file and look for this – I’ve added the ‘cat’ => 7, in Red but not sure if this will show it in Red, but it’s the last line. Add your Category ID number in place of 7.

    genesis_grid_loop( array(
    ‘features’ => 1,
    ‘cat’ => 7,
    ‘feature_image_size’ => 0,
    ‘feature_image_class’ => ‘alignleft post-image’,
    ‘feature_content_limit’ => 0,
    ‘grid_image_size’ => ‘grid-thumbnail’,
    ‘grid_image_class’ => ‘alignnone’,
    ‘grid_content_limit’ => 250,
    ‘more’ => __( ‘[Continue reading]’, ‘genesis’ ),
    ‘posts_per_page’ => 5,
    ‘cat’ => 7,
    ) );
