Hello
I am trying to use the “Home Featured” widget area in my child delicious theme by placing a html code in the “Text” widget box to show different images, how ever seems like this specific widget area is aligned to right instead of center.
I need help to make the aliment for the widget area to get placed in the center and also there is a huge white gap above the "Text" widget that i would like to have removed.
to visit the site and see what i mean please click here
Thank you

March 11, 2013 at 4:45 pm #25520iconitraxMemberNot the Join Our Team image, the 4 boxes on top (Buy a home - Refinance etc...)
March 11, 2013 at 4:58 pm #25525asdwebMemberThey are inside a table.
add this to your style.css
table {
margin-top: -20px;
margin-right: 30px;
margin-left: -10px;
}and play around with the numbers (above) to get the spacing you want.

March 11, 2013 at 5:05 pm #25526iconitraxMemberwill this change all the tables? is there a possibility to make this modification only for the "Home Featured Widget" area?
March 11, 2013 at 5:10 pm #25527asdwebMemberYes.
To specify it just for that area only, try:
#text-39 div.textwidget div {
margin-top: -20px;
margin-right: 30px;
margin-left: -10px;
}

If yes, what file and where?
What files are listed in Appearance --> Editor?I see and tweaked this one: http://1-ps.googleusercontent.com/h/www.crestico.com/wp-content/themes/delicious/A.style.css,qver=1.9.1.pagespeed.cf.4zpH_dtYE1.css

March 11, 2013 at 5:49 pm #25538iconitraxMemberfiles available under editor are
(functions.php)
home.php
style.phpStyles
Stylesheet
(style.css)
blue.css
brown.cssMarch 11, 2013 at 5:58 pm #25540asdwebMemberThe (style.css) is the correct one.
If you have a pagespeed / CSS compression plugin installed, deactivate it to see if it works.

March 11, 2013 at 6:05 pm #25542iconitraxMemberno such plugin is active. isn't this odd???
March 11, 2013 at 6:19 pm #25544asdwebMemberVery odd. Where did this come from?
This is minifying your stylesheet. Somehow you are hooked up with googleusercontent.com.
At this point, I don't know what to suggest without seeing the WP backend.
The other option is to put the four images on the home page, but NOT within a table. Why do you have it in a table? But the bottom line is you need to be able to adjust your style.css for this or anything you want to change in the future.
