Does any one have a technique or advice on how best to have the background image display on only the home page and a solid background on all other pages/posts?
Thank you in advance for any assist.
I would use Backstretch with the front page conditional tag and change the default CSS for the background.

The easiest way to do this is simply to take the code from the functions file and paste it into the front page template.
Here's how i did it locally http://wpsites.net/web-design/display-agency-pro-background-image-only-on-front-page/
Elegant solution! Thanks Brad!
