    My Site: eurekatechcomm.com
Lifestyle child theme on Genesis framework

I’ve come across an interesting slider at:

    http://www.sydneycounselling.com.au/

Does anyone know where I can get a slider like this that will work (well!) on my Lifestyle on Genesis site?

What I like about this slider is that there is a row of Text Buttons (six on this site) across the bottom of the slider that do not dynamically cycle, they remain in full view all the time. The site visitor can hover his cursor over these buttons and a new corresponding image comes up, each with its own pop-up text excerpt with a (read more) link. For lack of a better description I call this a “driveable” (by means of the mouse cursor!) slider,

I like the fact that all six buttons are in view all the time. Unlike with some sliders, the user doesn’t have to sit there and wait as the slider cycles through all the posts.

Anyone have any ideas? I would just love it if such a slider was available “out of the box” from StudioPress or from WordPress.org.

Codecanyon.net has sliders like that. Here’s one that might be a good fit for you.
