    Hi. I just redesigned our web site using the Education theme. Everything looks great on my end (in both Firefox & IE) and I’ve had others check out the site and had no issues. I see the site just fine on my end.

    However, several people are telling me they are seeing duplicate header images. I don’t get how this is happening…I’ve checked my header and everything looks fine. From the screenshot it looks like one of the headers is over to the left too far and the other is over to the right too far. Here’s the link to the image of what they are seeing.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello try going to Appearance >Header, scroll down until you see ( Show header text with your image ) you can check or uncheck this option to display any header text with your image. I hope this helps

    Hi Rob,

    The “Show header text with your image” is unchecked.

    The web site link is in my first post. It’s Delaware Bible College

    Thanks!

    That’s odd I can see the double text also. Did you check your Settings > then > General, you might have your site title there also…

    It’s a double image, not just the text b/c it’s got the logo on the left so I can tell it’s my image showing up twice. That’s REALLY strange b/c I don’t see it at all!

    Yes, my site title & subtitle are filled out on the General settings section, but that has never been an issue on any other web site I’ve ever designed. Plus….when you remove that, your web site no longer has a title. I just removed it and now my home page has no title…..that’s not gonna work.

    It looks like your image is uploaded twice for some strange reason, is it possible it got uploaded twice?

    Yes, b/c I had some issues with the sizing so there were a few uploaded, but I checked my library and there is only one instance of the logo.png. That was the first thing I thought of…duplicate images. But, I only have one uploaded and I purposefully deleted the others. I’ll look closer and make sure they are not hanging around in the “trash” or somewhere else.

    @kpahl, I was able to duplicate the issue. The person who was viewing your site had a screen size of probably 125%, instead of 100% which shows two images. (Try it)

    Line 61 is showing this:

    [css]#header {
    background: url("http://delawarebiblecollege.com/wp-content/uploads/logo.png&quot ;) no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    }[/css]

    Line 225 is this:

    [css].header-image #title a {
    background: url("images/logo.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
    }[/css]

    Delete the one at Line 225.

    Thank you, Anitac. I think we got it. I didn’t see line #61, but removed line 225 and it seems to be working. Yay! Thank you soooo much. I never would have thought of that! =)

    Appreciate all the help from you both.
